SCRUM Theatre is a registered charity (no. 1201124). Our purpose is to nurture a new generation of audiences and theatre-makers.
If you’re passionate about seeing a more equitable and accessible arts landscape in the UK, and you have the means to pay it forward, please consider donating.
What your donation will support
It’s because of contributions so far that we’ve been able to transform a long-empty archive building into SCRUM Studios, offer subsidised rehearsal spaces, provide pay-what-you-can workshops, begin developing our production of Twelfth Night, and build an organisation that pays artists and arts workers a real living wage. We need support to continue this work and keep the building running.
Looking ahead, we want to be able to expand our projects into the following:
construct a modular 250-seat theatre for our warehouse space, that we can also pack down and tour nationally to postcodes underfunded for the arts
deliver education workshops and resources for state school children as part of our tour of Twelfth Night, and CPD for their teachers to support their vital work delivering arts education in classrooms
continue to improve the accessibility of SCRUM Studios’, starting with fixing the elevator to ensure the entire building is wheelchair accessible
We are one of fewer and fewer organisations out there trying to build a better arts landscape from the ground up. We need all the help we can get.
